Mubarakan Movie Review: Anil Kapoor And Arjun Kapoor Are A Riot

It’s fun. It’s rib-tickling and it’s entertaining, well, we are talking about Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty starrer Mubarakan.

The film is all about twin brother, Charanveer Singh / Charan (Arjun Kapoor) and Karanveer Singh / Karan (Arjun Kapoor) who have been separated at birth. Charan grows up as a Sardar in the home of Baldev (Pavan Malhotra) in Punjab, while Karan is raised by Baldev's elder sister Jeeto (Ratna Pathak Shah), and hails from London.

 Mubarakan Poster

In walks their spinster uncle Kartar (Anil Kapoor), who has turned a rustic part of the UK into a mini Punjab, divides both Charan and Karan between his two elder siblings and then proceeds to add a lot of fuel to fire, thus leading to loads of fun and chaos. Mubarakan Movie Review

To add to the chaos, in walk Sweety (Ileana D'Cruz) and Binkle (Athiya Shetty). Now Sweety is Karan's girlfriend and Charan's wife, while Binkle is Charan's girlfriend and Karan's fiancée.

 Mubarakan Trailer

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan is a comedy that revolves around two weddings and a whole lot of confusion. The film has everything that one needs for a commercial success. There is comedy, there is romance and last but not the least loads of gags.

Everyone in the film have been perfectly cast and look their part, however, its Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor who steal the show and are a riot. We need to even applaud Anees Bazmee, story writers Rupinder Chahal and Balwinder Singh Janjua and dialogue writer Rajesh Chawla, for making a clean film that will entertain you through and through.

Do watch this one as it will surely bring a smile to your faces. Just a tip, do not look on for logics, cause there aren’t any.
